MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SPECIFIC
Carry out the engineering maintenance programs on M&E services and non-clinical equipment.
Supervise the preventive maintenance works and breakdown repairs carried out by the contractors.
Commission new facilities and equipment.
Evaluate the proposal by user departments to condemn facilities/equipment or carry out improvement works.
Update the maintenance and breakdown records into the computerised system.
Update changes to improvement works in drawings and manuals.
Maintain the workshop facilities, tools and test equipment.
Operate the Facilities Control Centre helpdesk and store as and when required.
Identify and initiate spare parts procurements.
Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot all facilities and equipment to maximise their availability.
Upkeep all facilities and equipment in the building to maintain the image of the hospital.
Assist the Engineers and Senior Engineers as and when required.
Mentor the Technician and Senior Technicians and provide technical guidance.
Responsible for equipment maintenance operation, implementation of projects, technical specification wiring, evaluation, and reliability analysis.
Preparation of master maintenace programs, revision of procedure/checklists and documentations.

Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Head of Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Engineering Diploma, ITC or NTC, with relevant experience.
Those with broad knowledge of M&E services will have as added advantage.
Diploma + 2 years in similar capacity, ITC + 5 years in similar capacity, or NTC + 8 years in similar capacity.
Process technical knowledge and experience in preventive maintenace and breakdown maintenace for M&E, automation and medical gas services.
Preferably posses good oral, written communication skills, computer literate and able to multi-task
