Product Owner for Ansible Automation Platform Service
Product management for providing Ansible Automation Platform as a service
User Experience and Communication
Product lifecycle
Financial charging
Service level management
User engagement
Provide service and/or technical consultation for customers
Ansible community lead for Bosch
Conduct roadshows & meetups
Infrastructure management
Ensure Operational stability
Ensure Security of the operations and service
Capacity management
Technical Lead for RedHat Enterprise Linux Server Service & Cloud Service of Bosch worldwide.
Continuous improvement of automation for the installation and maintenance of Linux Operating System and related components in a Large-scale Linux Server infrastructure.
Ensure stable, secure and efficient service and operations.
Develop API driven automation
Coordinate and collaborate with 1st & 2nd level support, analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for escalated technical issues.
Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management. Continuously improve the process where needed.
Ensure hardening, patch management and upgrades of Linux Servers is properly done.
Address audit findings and IT risks including remediation, progress tracking, status reporting and evidence documentation.
Maintain high-availability of systems.
Improve monitoring systems. Knowledge in Icinga will be a plus.
Prepare and maintain SOP documentations.
Consult and collaborate with IT and DevOps teams on security best practices and requirements for Linux/Unix Operating systems in On-Prem/Cloud environments.
Perform Host management, Golden image management and Automation for cloud platforms.
Coordinate storage, backup and ESX administration.
Continuously improve the visibility of the security status of the environment.
Participate in Agile meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar specialization/technical discipline.
Linux Server experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience and knowledge in the field of Linux server Operations and System engineering with Automation.
Experience in managing Linux Servers in a large scale Ubuntu/Debian/RHEL environment with good administration skills.
Experience with integrating Linux server infrastructure with Identity providers such as Active Directory and Privilege Access Management.
Experience using different patch management solutions (Eg: Satellite, Suse manager, BMC, Big Fix) for large infrastructure at a scale of 10,000+ systems
Ansible & Ansible Automation Platform experience
5 years of experience in Ansible script development
3 years of experience on Ansible Automation Platform
In-depth knowledge of the Ansible Automation Platform infrastructure setup
API driven automation
Creating workflows and scheduled jobs
RBAC management with Identity Management tools
Secrets management with tools from vendors such as Cyberark, Hashicorp, etc
Experience and comprehensive knowledge in IT security.
Knowledge and experience of monitoring systems. Icinga knowledge will be a plus.
Good understanding of DevOps principles (e.g., CI/CD, GitOps)
Experience with IT Service Management based on ITIL and industry established quality standards.
Knowledge of data analytics tool such as Splunk and/or Power BI will be preferred.
Self-driven to work independently in accordance with defined organization standards.
Problem solving mindset to bring continuous improvement for self and the organization
Good communication and coordination skill to ensure client requests and escalations are handled well with high level of customer satisfactions.
Good presentation skills to a cross-cultural audience.
