Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience developing technical strategy and managing security in areas including Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Management, PSIM, IT Networking, or Construction/Architecture.
Experience managing security technology projects from evaluation to design and execution.
Experience with planning, information organization, timeline tracking, and communication across teams and organizational levels.
Experience interacting with technical and non-technical groups at various levels.
Preferred qualifications:
PSP, CPP, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification.
2 years of experience with people or vendor management.
Experience in technology strategy development, design, and execution within physical/cyber-security industries.
Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and subsequent monitoring, through informal authority.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.

As a Technical Program Manager for the Global Security Systems and Technology (GSST) Identity and Access team, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that improve Googles ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act on security risks globally. You will take accountability for strategic improvements and enhancements of access control, intrusion detection, and identity management solutions to enable high levels of assurance. You will manage multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, leveraging a variety of strategic partnerships to drive delivery of both first-party and third-party solutions. Youll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company.

Responsibilities
Work with internal clients, cross-functional partners, and engineering teams to deliver technology against physical security strategies with a focus on scalable growth, automation, risk management, and business process improvement.
Support the build of technology solutions, from strategic planning to tactical activities (e.g., gathering requirements, developing user stories, lab testing, and creating project, rollout and communications plans) and support evaluation, integration, and implementation of third-party solutions.
Identify and track changing business conditions in Google and industries to evolve security strategies and related products for stakeholders.
Manage confidential information and safeguard company intellectual property.
Provide leadership and strategic guidance of junior colleagues, peers, and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in physical security towards shared business goals and objectives.
