Receive customer enquiries through customer portal or email.
Download, update, and monitor customer product Bill of Material (BOM), drawings, and specifications and its revisions.
Prepare Sales quotation/proposal/tender documents during RFQ/quotation stage.
Check and ensure compliance to all specifications prior to providing customer the proposal.
Calculate material, machining, cladding and other associated costs to quotations.
Ensure quotations submitted are competitive and maintain a good profit margin.
Follow-up on proposals with clients to secure orders.
Prepare and distribute a Sales Order Job Launch when customer awards Purchase orders.
Project Management on active Sales Orders and delivery schedules.
Manage and build customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with other departments to compile and submit documentations as required (e.g. pre-production/ final product documentations, concessions/non-conformances)
Establish positive communications with customers regularly.
Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
Highly motivated and driven
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player
Analytical, resourceful, and possess problem-solving capabilities
Willing to undertake ad-hoc project assignments and be able to multi-task
Proficient with MS Office tools
Knowledge/interest in oilfield components and equipment will be an added advantage
