Career Opportunity for a Technical Sales ENGINEER
Responsibilities
- Handles assigned sales accounts, including its growth & mid-term outlook
- Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development of sales strategies, growth and tactics to achieve business objectives
- Sales Enablement: Train and support sales teams on product knowledge, technical aspects, and sales strategies
- Project Management: Manage NPI/prototype projects, ensure technical & sales relationships with key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Product Demonstrations: Showcase products features, capabilities, and value propositions to customers and prospects
- Technical Sales Support: Provide in-depth technical information and answer complex questions from customers and channel partners
- Solution Development: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions using the company's products or solutions
- Proof of Concepts (POCs): Design and execute POCs to demonstrate the product's capabilities and value to customers
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their business needs, and identify new sales opportunities
- Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date with competitors products and technologies to maintain a competitive edge
- Project Management: Manage NPI/prototype projects, ensure technical & sales relationships with key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Feedback and Insights: Provide feedback to product development teams and share customer insights to inform product roadmaps
- Technical Sales Engineers work closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and product adoption
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Precision/Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge in manufacturing process and product costing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficient in SAP & Salesforce will be a big advantage
- Competent with ISO9001, IATF16949 and/or ISO13485
