Technical Sales Engineer (Indoor)

Join us as a Technical Sales Engineer who will be involved primarily in high temperature and corrosion resistant (nickel alloy) materials supporting the petrochemical, aviation, waste to energy, pharmaceutical sector. Responsibilities

• Work with well-established customers base in the petrochemical | pharmaceutical | aviation, and OEM industries in Singapore
• Interpret customer requirements
• Understand industry standards and specifications
• Read customer drawings and generate bill of materials
• Formulate sales proposals and negotiate directly with end users to close orders
• Negotiate procurement of materials, parts, sub-contract services and logistics

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline
• Working knowledge of industrial piping and related hardware
• Reward driven with a real desire to improve sales and business margins
• Proficient with MS Excel

Advantages

The following optional skills or work experience would be an advantage

• Familiarity with ASME | DIN | JIS and similar material specifications
• Previous experience in a plant or on-site maintenance or engineering role
