Your role and responsibilities
As a Technical Sales Manager for Process Automation business, you will be responsible for driving decarbonization service / retrofit sales in collaboration with the decarbonization service team. Developing proactive sales with vessel owners, consultancies, ship designers, and generating decarbonization service opportunities and securing profitable sales within designated area. Reporting to Senior Sales Manager, you will be focusing on installed base penetration (IB)providing technical solutions and selling the entire decarbonization solution portfolio in collaboration with other ABB marine service units. You will be responsible for: Promoting and selling entire decarbonization product portfolio, providing solutions and offerings base on customers need to expand ABB footprint in the designated areas. Generating new decarbonization sales leads and developing new market opportunities, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios. Marketing of ABB decarbonization solutions in trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer seminars and meetings. Preparing and delivering technical presentations for both internal and customers on decarbonization solutions. Penetrating IB, promotes decarbonization upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit for customers. Collaborating with Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager implementing sales strategy and preparing technical / bidding proposal with the respective product managers. Charting out and monitors sales proposals, tenders and follows up proposal statistics Managing sales administrative processes and contracts negotiation with customers in accordance with ABB priorities and strategies.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering
Minimum of 3 years experience in the marine industry.
Demonstrated experience in sales, preparation of commercial offering and technical proposals.
Skilled in developing technical concepts and in managing cost and business growth
Analytical with good attention to details
Very good communications and presentation skill.
