Responsibilities:
.Lead the conceptualization of technical solution architecture based on project requirements and IT strategies. Participate in evaluating and selecting vendors, products, and technologies for the proposed solution.
.Collaborate with enterprise architects, subject matter experts, and product vendors to ensure the technical solution aligns with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guidelines, while fulfilling project objectives. Serve as a liaison between the enterprise architects and the project's technical delivery team.
.Develop and maintain technical documentation for the proposed solution architecture.
.Effectively communicate with stakeholders to facilitate the solution architecture process and obtain necessary approvals.
.Present and secure buy-in for the technical solution from IT management and the enterprise technology/architecture board.
.Conduct research and pursue innovation to stay updated on industry and technology trends.
Requirements:
.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial industry.
.At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture roles, with a strong understanding of the system and project implementation lifecycle within a banking environment.
.Experienced in designing scalable, resilient technical architecture solutions, including end-to-end integration across channels, systems, middleware, and data warehouses. Experience with integrating commercial off-the-shelf products and cloud solutions is highly desirable.
.Expertise in system integration patterns, enterprise architecture, microservices architecture, and cloud computing services. Knowledge of system and network infrastructure is a plus.
.Extensive knowledge of banking technologies and systems, including industry developments and trends. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, containerization, and programming languages such as Java and/or .NET.
.Functional and operational knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
oPayments
oCustomer onboarding & AML (Preferred)
oDigital workflow
oData warehouse & analytics
.Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF or cloud solution architect certifications, are highly desirable.
