Technical Superintendent

We're working with a renowned shipping company in search for a skilled Vessel Manager to oversee the fleet's tanker vessel operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, maritime experience, and the ability to solve problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily vessel operations and ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate crew assignments, training, and development.
• Oversee vessel maintenance and repairs, working with shipyards and service providers.
• Manage vessel operation budgets and control expenses.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
• Improve operational efficiency and address any issues promptly.
• Report on vessel performance, maintenance, and crew matters.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans.

Qualifications:

• Min 4-5 years of experience in vessel management or a similar role.
• Sailed as Chief Engineer
• Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and operational procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
