Technical Support Engineer (Power Switching & Monitoring Products)

Purpose of the position

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing product application support and technical documentation requests
• Investigate and conduct product trouble shooting upon customer requests
• Coordinate with quality department and manage customer escalations along with the sales team
• Support product demonstrations during exhibitions and seminars
• Conduct training and workshop for internal employees and external clients

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the power distribution equipment/product industries
• Sound technical knowledge in switch disconnector, auto transfer switch, power meter and power quality monitoring system
• Familiar with communication protocol such as Modbus, Bacnet, SNMP, etc.
• Customer service oriented
