Technical Support Manager

Nacos Marine Singapore is looking for Technical Support Manager to join our team.

This is a permanent opportunity, located at Jurong East, Singapore.

In this position, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Located in Singapore to cover Asia's Customers issues (AUT & NAV) in ANCS
• Provide remote diagnosis of problems and definition of further steps to be taken to further isolate or remedy the problem, with appropriate communication to the customer and, if necessary, to other departments, where troubleshooting requires it
• Attend Field Service activities in Asian countries
• Perform root cause analysis of technical problems at ship and equipment level
• Independent clarification of complex service problems of the entire product range including preparation of a detailed solution proposal in cooperation with the product management
• Findings for special problem cases, if it is necessary, carry out of the required on-board repair, on board attendances for installation/commissioning/services
• Preparing for meetings Technical topics and analysis for order and service management
• Present Life Cycle Management meetings with customers
• Attend site survey and health check of customer installation on site
• Special tasks: participation on call on duty, surveys, trainer activities etc.
• Deep understanding of NACOS related automation system
• Training of team members in the Asia region.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Diploma in Engineering and above
• Minimum of 20 years work experiences in similar position
• Experienced in PCS, MCS and PLC related platform for automation system
• Coding requirements : IEC and SLS coding
• Strong in Automation Technical Skill
• Experienced with independent hands-on personnel on ANCS products and Automation
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team
