Technical Writer (Engineering & Product Documentation)

We are looking for Senior Technical Writers to support our long-term projects. This is a 12-month contract role to start with a potential to extend.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically adept Technical Writer with a strong engineering background. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating directly with engineers and engineering leads to create comprehensive documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. The role involves preparing a wide range of materials, including user guides, troubleshooting manuals, technical architecture diagrams, and engineering documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing clear, concise documentation for non-technical business users and engineers working with the product to build and maintain solutions.
• Collaborating with engineers to gather detailed technical information and clarify complex concepts.
• Producing technical diagrams (e.g., architecture, sequence, and integration) to illustrate product construction, usage patterns, and interactions within platforms.
• Engaging in documentation reviews with senior engineers, addressing questions, and ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Maintaining up-to-date internal documents such as FAQs, source code repositories, and troubleshooting guides.
• Candidates should be comfortable diving deep into technical content, asking probing questions, and working closely with the engineering team to ensure all documentation is precise and accessible.
