Technician

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining machinery, equipment and systems both mechanically and electrically.
• Responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably.
• Ability to perform preventive and predictive technical preventive maintenance is necessary.
• Maintain a proper machinery asset register to keep track of asset holdings.
• To monitor and control maintenance costs, track the costs of labour, supplies and equipment repairs.
• Ensure unplanned problems, breakdowns and emergencies are dealt with immediately and their root causes are determined.
• Work to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Liaise with OEM, external vendors and operation executives on equipment repair status.
• Adhere to EHS compliance.
