Techno Functional Consultant

We are seeking aTechno functional consultantto join our team. This role focuses on providing bothtechnicalandfunctional supportfor Java-based and Cobol mainframe applications. You will work closely with users, developers, and business teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and enhance overall functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

• Assist with Java application development and troubleshooting.
• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
• Provide technical support to users, resolving issues and improving system performance.

Functional Support:

• Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for development teams.
• Collaborate with users and developers to enhance business processes and application functionality.
• Test new features and ensure they align with business requirements before deployment.

Problem Solving:

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to Java applications and SQL databases.
• Analyze operational issues and propose solutions to improve system functionality and efficiency.

Teamwork:

• Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business users to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to ongoing system improvements and help automate processes for better efficiency.

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong knowledge ofJavaandCobol Mainframeprogramming.
• Proficiency inSQLdatabases, including the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Optional Good to Have Skills:

• Experience withEnterprise Java-related backend frameworks(e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
