- 2-rotating shifts: 9.30 am - 5.45 pm & 1.30 pm & 9.45 pm (Note: 2 weeks before Christmas, afternoon shift change to 2.00 pm & 10.15 pm).
- Working Days: Wed - Sun (choose 4 days)
Job Responsibilities:
- Cashiering Duties:Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash, credit, or other forms of payments.
Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure cash balances.
- Customer Service:Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
Provide information about products, promotions, and special offers.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address issues professionally.
- Sales Support:Promote products and drive sales by suggesting items based on customer preferences.
Maintain product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Inventory and Merchandising:Assist in stocking shelves and organizing displays, ensuring they are neat, attractive, and stocked.
Conduct inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
Help with product arrangement and restocking as necessary.
- Store Maintenance:Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area and overall store environment.
Follow safety and hygiene protocols within the store.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail or customer service may be preferred.
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
