Department OverviewOur Student Care Centres provide a caring, conducive and safe environment for children whose parents are unable to look after them during the day because of work commitments. Creating a stable home-away-from-home environment at each centre is important as students can spend their time meaningfully and be positively nurtured in their mental well-being. Such an environment also provides opportunities for the students to develop socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually.
Responsible for the childrens well-being and safety at all times
- Assist and guide children with their daily school work.
Plan and execute programmes and activities for the children.- Maintain discipline and classroom management while engaging the children in fun developmental activities and learning lessons
Assist to respond to parents at the centre.
Minimum GCE O Level (fresh graduates or students are welcome to apply!)
- Enjoys working with children aged 6-12 years
Passionate and patient about working with Children to provide an environment of care in an after school care setting* Location of workplace: Newton (10minutes walk away from MRT station)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 6:30pm (no need to work on weekends)
