What We Offer
The individual is responsible for developing partnership with APM Hubs and key gateway terminals in Maersk Network, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency improvement, aligning stowage-terminal operations strategy with the company's overarching business strategy, including cost optimization, sustainability goals, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop partnership with APM Hubs and gateway terminal operators (both APM and 3rd Party) to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
- Maintain regular discussions and collaborative touchpoints with APM Hubs and gateway terminals (both APM and 3rd Party) to identify pain points and co-create actionable solutions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross teams to design/implement performance frameworks for APMT hubs and gateway terminals CI and PMPH results and review periodically.
- Uphold CI and PMPH performance standards across GEO (geographic) teams by sharing best practices and driving consistent processes globally
- Collaborate with TbM Hub team/Terminal on optimization of crane deployment in APM Hubs
- Conduct in-depth analyses of stowage and terminal data to uncover insights and trends that inform decision-making at the senior leadership level.
- Ensure planning teams adhere to SOPs for periodic proforma CI reviews in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Provide feedback to platform on new features that would align more closely with terminal performance improvement and reduce manual work.
- Review network health in APM Hubs with other stakeholders periodically to ensure SOC is followed and schedule reliability is delivered as per design.
We are looking for
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in a global organization
- Experience in Stowage and/or Terminal Operations is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma is an advantage
- Excellent communication abilities
- Strong project management capabilities
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Analytical thinking
- Attention to detail
