What You'll Be Doing
As a Tester, you will be responsible for the following:
- Mobile App Testing (iOS/Android): Strong hands-on experience in testing mobile applications, including functional, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Manual Testing: Expertise in executing manual test cases to ensure the app behaves as expected under various conditions.
- Automation Testing: Experience with mobile automation testing tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium).
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar for logging and tracking defects.
- Test Case Design: Ability to create and maintain detailed test cases, plans, and scripts tailored to mobile app features.
- Cross-Platform Testing: Experience in testing mobile apps across various devices, operating systems, and screen resolutions.
- Regression Testing: Familiarity with performing regression testing on mobile apps after updates and bug fixes.
- API Testing: Knowledge of testing APIs and integrating them with mobile apps using tools like Postman.
- Performance Testing: Understanding of performance, stress, and load testing for mobile applications.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with developers and product teams in sprints.
- Security and Privacy Compliance: Awareness of mobile app security best practices, including data encryption and authentication standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma or higher with strong academic performance, demonstrated quantitative background and abilities
- Strong analytical and logic skills
- High level of motivation
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them within very tight timeframes
