Job Overview:The IT Operations Executive will be responsible for setting up and maintaining IT systems that support our clients F&B operations. This role involves performing system tests, conducting user training, and ensuring seamless IT operations to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
System Setup and Maintenance:- Install and configure hardware and software systems.
Set up point-of-sale (POS) systems, kitchen display systems (KDS), and other IT infrastructure required for F&B operations.- Ensure all IT equipment is functioning optimally and securely.
System Testing:- Conduct regular tests on IT systems to identify and resolve any issues.
Perform system updates and upgrades as necessary.- Develop and execute test plans to ensure systems meet performance and security standards.
Training and Support:- Conduct training sessions for staff on the use of IT systems.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure staff can effectively use IT resources.- Create and maintain user manuals and training materials.
Operational Efficiency:- Monitor IT systems to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness.
Security and Compliance:- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
Perform regular security audits to safeguard company data and systems.- Stay updated on the latest IT security threats and implement preventive measures.
Education:
- While a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement.
Experience:- Previous experience in IT operations is a plus but not mandatory. We value a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of IT systems is helpful, but comprehensive training will be provided.
Proficiency in POS systems, KDS, and other F&B-related IT systems is a plus
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security.
Experience with various operating systems and database management.Soft Skills:
