Role:- To ensure smooth running of the production process, minimizing downtime, and maximizing overall productivity of a manufacturing facility.
Analyzing production schedules, assessing tooling requirements, and coordinating with various departments to ensure the availability of necessary resources.- To provide support and assistance to production teams, liaising with production supervisors, Engineers, toolmakers and machinist to understand their tooling needs and prioritizing toolroom activities accordingly.
Familiar with toolroom machineries like EDM, Wire-cut, CNC and Grinding.
- Familiar with toolroom Mold making process.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment to plan and schedule to meet tight deadlines.
Optimize machine usage with WIP loading plan.- Plan job flow, hours estimation and schedule process timeline of work order.
Arrange outsource process requisition as per teams decision to assist resolve bottleneck issues.
- Monitor job progress & feedback timely to person-in-charge.
Calculate internal cost estimates to justify for sub-out.- Plan and ensure raw material, mold base and standard component requisitions are as per schedule.
Purchase toolroom accessories and negotiate prices and prepare Purchase Requisitions.
- Monitor quality and feedback timely to person-in-charge.
Involve in Continuous Improvement Programme.- Update tooling status on daily basis.
Outsource if internal capacity is deemed overloaded.
- Re-prioritize job schedule according to Manager/superiors request as per customers requirement.
Reject raw materials, mold bases, insert fabrication and standard components that do not meet requirements.
