Trade Support Executive (Metals) | UP to SGD5, 500

Role Summary
The incumbent will be playing for a key role of Front Office(FO)/Middle Office(MO) in each transaction lifecycle, interacting closely with trading, vendors, suppliers, customers, risk, operations and other business partners to ensure a seamless business flow. The metals desk also has a dedicated focus on supporting business growth and will have immersive experiences of all aspects of physical trading along supporting the traders.

Job Description

• Assist in minor terms negotiations and coordination with external parties during Back Office's commercial contract drafting.
• Manage surveyor relationships, may visit ports and factories, assist in quality disputes solution supporting traders and BO.
• Report to metal traders of pending post-deal unsettlements and miscellaneous.
• Track and provide guidance to BO on the timing of FX hedging and transaction, by regular checking of receivables and payables with BO and/or external parties.
• Manage warehouse relationships, coordination on metal exchange deliveries, rental negotiations and warehousing agreement renewals, etc.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a Front Office / Operations / Middle Office role within the Commodities industry.
• Possess knowledge of LME rules as well as bulk commodities trade operations.
• Candidates with prior experience in Base Metals (Nickel / Copper / Aluminimum etc.) will be advantageous.
• Able to multi-task and highly adaptable in a fast-paced working environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
