Their area of expertise ranges from banking and finance, conveyancing, employment law, intellectual property, technology, franchising, competition law, litigation, insolvency to medical negligence. Trademark Paralegal

Job Summary:

The Trademark Paralegal is to assist the lawyers on a range of Intellectual Property matters within the practice group.

Job Description:

• Preparation and filing of trademark, and design applications
• Monitoring the trademark and design application process and reporting to clients
• Managing the billing processes
• Preparing cost estimates
• Liaising with clients and overseas counsel on the application statuses
• Keeping updated records to all applications that have been filed
• Monitoring and managing reminders and deadlines to ensure timely actions
• Offering administrative support to lawyers and the firm.

Job Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge and experience in IP related work
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
• Excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Possess a positive work attitude and able to work with a team
• Ability to maintain tact and diplomacy, trust and confidentiality
• Highly organized and accurate with a high level of attention to details.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet aggressive deadlines
• Must be able to work independently.
