Trader (Mineral Commodities)

Responsibilities

• Develop relations with refineries primarily in China to identify trading opportunities.
• Maintain and manage existing business, including tract flows.
• Understand clients needs and develop solutions and strategies.
• Gain a detailed understanding of the supply chain, including identifying challenges and concerns of customers across the value chain.
• Acquire strong knowledge of the raw material value in use, and the production process of chemical products.
• Develop a deep understanding of the raw material market and product market fundamentals including trade flows.
• Act as a secondary support for the Senior Commodity Book Manager.
• Execute derivatives execution when required.
• Contribute insights for cargo pricing considerations.
• Assist in managing derivatives operations.
• Maintain broker counterparty relationships.
• Provide analytical support to inform trading decisions.
• Assist in the management and refinement of the physical pricing database and
  models.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in business and international trade or relevant major.
• At least 5 years of derivatives market experience in mineral commodities.
• Min 1 years of physical sales experience in commodities.
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin (to communicate with China counterpart).
