Our client, a leading force in the oil & gas industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operator to oversee logistics and operations, providing vital support to traders in the dynamic world of Petrochemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cargo operations to ensure smooth processes and reduce downtime.
- Plan and oversee the loading and unloading of petrochemicals, following safety and environmental rules.
- Work closely with shipping agents, terminal operators, and other partners to ensure efficient cargo movement.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading.
- Keep accurate records of cargo movements, quantities, and quality details.
- Coordinate with vessel captains, port authorities, and others involved in cargo operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Maritime Studies or relevant fields with 2 years of experience in cargo operation
- Experienced with petrochemicals is a plus
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and industry best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Possess good planning and organizing skills
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
