TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

FPS Global Logistics Pte Ltd, is one of the leading local companies specializing in the fields of NVOCC (Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations, total logistics and supply chain management services.

We have an opening for a Traffic Controller.

He/she is to ensure that activities are carried out within the department process and cost objectives.

Job Responsibilities

1) To manage the entire fleet of operation in container trucking and fulfill customer's delivery requirement.

2) Communicate and coordinate with drivers and operations team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery and collection.

3) Manage fleet vehicle and chassis to ensure availability of the fleet to meet daily operational demands, including scheduling vehicles for inspection and servicing.

4) Monitor the Portnet for any insignificant changes and update the Sysfreight regularly.

5) Handle customers complaints, drivers feedback and problems.

6) Ensure the accuracy of driver incentives.

7) Perform counselling to drivers when necessary.

8) Always adhere to safety instructions and requirements.

9) Take up task and assignments as and when assigned by the superior.

Qualifications

1) GCE O Level

2) Computer literacy with email and Microsoft office

3) Independent, proactive, and able to work to work under pressure

4) Minimum one (01) year's traffic controller experience in Keppel Distripark, an advantage

5) Familiar with Singapore routes

6) Experiences in container haulage operation

7) Good communication skills
