The job duties of the transport operations staff entails planning, co-ordinating the transport requirements of our customers.
Common tasks carried out by the candidate will include:
- Answering phone calls from customers for their transport requirements
- Planning and co-ordainting driver movements
- Ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance to Singapore Transport Regulations
- Liaising and negotiating with different stakeholders including customers, LTA and various transport operators
- Minimising disruption and resolving any unscheduled delays, having to make decisions in difficult situations
- Meeting customers to deal with complaints and areas of concern
- Using IT systems: GPS, Order Management Systems to manage driver and order movements
- Monitor vehicle insurance, road tax and servicing dates
Candidate will have to perform adminstative tasks onto of daily tasks.
- Able to converse in English and Chinese as drivers are mainly from China. Ability to speak Malay will be a bonus to communicate with the malaysian mechanic
- Organised and meticulous
- Ability to multi task
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good understanding of the roads in Singapore
