About the role
The Travel Risk Advisor is a dedicated International SOS resource working in the clients Security Operations team and is assigned to support and deliver tasks to manage their travel security risk management program
Key responsibilities
Monitor travel of Google employees within the Asia and Pacific regions and support implementation of travel risk management policy.
Triage and manage all travel security related enquiries received by the Security Operations team in Asia and Pacific.
Provide travel security risk advice and information to Googles employees in Asia and Pacific.
Maintain the databases of live Travel Security Briefs and Travel Security Guidance documents for office locations and non-office locations in Asia and Pacific.
Review existing procedures and provide travel security guidance where required as part of the APAC Travel Security Working Group and Global Travel Program.
Support the APAC Security Operation team, the Intelligence team, and the Events team by advising on travel security risks for events, group trips and other assessments where needed.
Increase awareness of International SOS membership and the tools available through organizing information and training sessions as required.
Help to develop Googles resilience to travel risk through educating and training the Security Operations teams, as well as other employees as required.
Act as a key liaison with International SOS; and
Any other travel security related tasks as determined by Google.
OH&S Responsibilities

About you
Degree level qualification in politics, international relations or related subject is desired.
Proven experience in travel- or security-related field: military, government, NGO, journalism; relevant academic studies
Strong knowledge of the global political and security landscape
Strong IT skills including Google Docs and other applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex situations to non- expert audiences.
