The Treasury Manager will be mainly responsible for Asset and Liability Management, Risk Management related to Treasury, and Capital Management for FS Group.
The candidate will have a high level of engagement with various stakeholders within the group, including business, technology, risk and credit, and Finance teams including planning & analysis (FP&A) and controlling.
The individual should have a high attention to detail, high levels of numeracy and accuracy in preparing reports, collating data from various sources, preparing commercial value add analysis and demonstrate strong teamwork and fit with our cultural values.
What you will do:
You will be responsible for Asset and Liability Management, Risk Management related to Treasury, and Capital Management for FS Group across South-East Asia
You will determine the agenda for Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) including topics for discussion & approval, and regular monthly reporting.
You will assist the Director, Treasury to finetune and define the Treasury Framework and Strategy
You will manage and ensure compliance to the companys Fund Transfer Pricing framework, and make further refinements to the framework over time
You will ensure that all treasury-related trading activities (largely foreign exchange related to mitigate FX risk) comply with the internal risk management guidelines and applicable liquidity regulations, and implement the hedging strategies as required
You will assist in Liquidity Risk Stress-Testing and Scenario Analysis, and report to the senior management about the implementation status and testing results together with the group risk function
You will ensure all Capital Requirements, regulatory or covenants, are met at all times, and take any necessary actions where required to address any capital needs in any legal entity
You will manage due diligence requests from prospective investors, research and gather necessary information from internal stakeholders and prepare a comprehensive response
You will assist in any other Treasury related projects to further improve efficiency or risk management and controls for FS Group
Requirements
What we are looking for:
You have at least a bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. A postgraduate or MBA will be a plus
You bring in 5-7years relevant experience in the treasury field, ideally in a financial institution or a corporate treasury function of a large corporation
You have a passion for the commercial side of treasury and have experience with it
You have a well-developed understanding of: debt, bonds, derivatives, hedging, multi-currency, forex and international funds flows, in particular the Asia Pacific jurisdiction and cross border regulations relating to payment and collections as well as lending
You understand the foundations of tax, legal, accounting, treasury control and treasury IT
