We are seeking a proactive and solution-focused treasury specialist to assist our client in the logistics sector with various treasury functions. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in banking procedures and possess knowledge of financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of financing transactions, from loan documentation to post-closing processes.
- Provide support in treasury functions, including bank account management (openings/closings), interest rate fixing, foreign exchange trading, fixed deposit placements, loan rollovers and drawdowns.
- Manage bank accounts by maintaining key records, conducting periodic reviews of banking mandates, and overseeing access rights to online banking platforms, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Collaborate with banks and internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to funding, treasury operations, accounting, and reporting.
- Maintain an operational database to monitor all treasury and financing activities.
- Assist in reviewing financial models for new investments to ensure accuracy.
- Provide assistance for overseas investments, including potential divestments, inputs for annual budgeting, reviewing and reporting quarterly performance, handling documentation requirements, and making travel arrangements.
- Lead initiatives to revamp data management for treasury matters.
- Participate in any ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Strong self-motivation and proactivity to meet deadlines independently.
- Solution-oriented thinking with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to produce concise and structured written deliverables.
- Familiarity with banking procedures and knowledge of financial markets and investment analysis/valuation is a plus.
