Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Operator

Responsibilities

. Assist M & E team with assembly and disassembly of TBM.

. All aspects of TBM operation including maintenance of line and grade of the tunnel while steering the TBM, as well as operation of the segment erector and annular grouting systems.

. Undertake cutterhead and tool inspection during the drive, take charge of emergency situations within the TBM.

. Identify and communicate any and all working environment safety hazards.

Requirements

. Minimum 10 years of experience in Tunnelling industry with TBM.

. Sufficient knowledge on handling TBM operation within given working parameters.

. Experience with TBM machine guidance systems and operating TBM under variable ground condition.

. Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

. Possess certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) and Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS-T), Supervise Work in Confined Space Operations.

. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

. A team player with strong passion in project management.

. Self-motivated and able to leverage on team.

. Resourceful, meticulous, able to multi-task and handle pressure well.

. Responsible and positive working attitude.
