Overseas working. 5 years long project.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of tunnel construction, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Plan and coordinate daily site activities, including resource allocation, equipment management, and labor scheduling.
- Monitor excavation, tunneling, and lining operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and other specialists to address technical challenges and adjust plans as needed.
- Manage the procurement and timely delivery of materials and equipment specific to tunneling operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential issues, such as ground conditions and water ingress.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, project schedules, and cost control records.
- Liaise with project managers, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to provide updates and ensure compliance.
- Oversee and manage the quality control of tunnel construction, conducting inspections and tests to ensure alignment with design specifications.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or equivalent
- Experience in handling tunneling projects
- Need to Have railway project experience
- Open to overseas working
