Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the resident's doctor and multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents updates on changes in the residents condition and needs.
- Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan.
- Work with allied health professionals and/or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
- Carry out and supervise assessments of all new admissions.
- Prepare clinical documentation and ensure all documentations are current.
- Prepare and administer medications to residents and comply with safe medication practices.
- Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practice.
- Participate in training and development of staff.
- Work with Supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Deal with emergency that arises and ensure prompt actions to mitigate the situation. Escalate promptly to supervisor, where necessary.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
- Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Knowledge in Nhelp Account and Timesoft will be advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and passion for serving the elderly patients.
- Able to work cohesively with colleagues from all disciplines
- Able to commit min 3 months (Dec 2024 - Feb 2025/Jan 2025 - Mar 2025)
