Responsibilities:
- Ability to source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Compile price comparisons and create costing summaries.
- Provide comprehensive quantity surveying services.
- Prepare interim valuations and manage contract variations, including pricing and agreement.
- Ensure regular and up-to-date submission and follow-up of claims.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, in collaboration with the architect and/or client.
- Prepare and analyze tender costs.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil & Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the contracting industry, with experience in sourcing and tendering.
- Must be meticulous, independent, highly motivated, and results-oriented.
- Should be a good team player, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
