Responsibilities:
- Providing an effective and safe operation for all assigned vessels, understanding classification rules, working with crews to keep compliance of rules, regulations, and requirements.
- In-charge of scheduling vessels according to flag/class, preparing & controlling vessel budgets.
- Ensure to arrange and report technical support of specialized engineers, checking machinery performance, and lubricating oil/bunker analysis.
- Handle the vessel downtime to expedite the status of the operations.
- Fuel management, maintenance management, budget control, and the organization of a scheduled timetable for assigned vessels are all responsibilities.
- Handover and familiarization of new engineers, assessing engineer and deck officer harmony, and assuring engine room safety culture and housekeeping management.
- Must follow up on audited non-conformances, observations, schedule and attend dockings.
- Monitor third-party claim requirements and provide assistance with incident investigations.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or any related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- With Sailing or Bunker Vessel and Possess Class 2/3 is a plus.
- Competent with MS Office and knowledgeable with Technical.
