Primary duties will include:
- Work closely with business partners to drive institutional client activity in the US Treasury product among Asia-based investors. Institutional focus may be any of banks, trusts, pensions, insurance, and other asset managers.
- Maintain an interpersonal presence with both clients and prospects through both meetings and entertainment that may require business travel.
- Share local client knowledge of market activity and interest across fixed income products with teams in both New York and Singapore.
- Use an entrepreneurial spirt to continuously prospect for new client relationships in the region.
- Cross-sell StoneX services including our capabilities in custody, clearing, global payments, and repo; as well as other products such as MBS and Agency debt.
- Support colleagues in their own efforts with all the above duties, including on a daily transactional basis to ensure the best-in-class client experience never falters.
- Ensure absolute compliance with all industry regulatory rules as well as firm policies.
- Maintain a demeanor that is consistent with a positive and collegial work environment for all.
To land this role you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of direct institutional interest rate sales experience.
- Fluent in Japanse.
- MAS or JSDA
- In-depth knowledge of the US Treasury and other rate products, including market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in client relationship building; in part through a robust existing account base.
- Unrelenting drive to grow your own client business, in the context of a team effort.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; as well as demonstrated professionalism, persistence, and attention to detail.
- Genuine interest in and awareness of global markets fluctuations.
