About the Job: UI/UX Developer/Designer
We are looking for a creative and skilled UI/UX Developer/Designer to join our team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences that are visually engaging and highly functional. You will work closely with product engineers and managers to gather and interpret user requirements, ensuring designs align with product goals and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that demonstrate clear, intuitive user interactions and a seamless user journey.
- Identify and address UX issues to create user-friendly, functional, and visually appealing digital experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with product objectives.
- Conduct usability tests, gather user feedback, and refine designs as needed.
Required Skillsets:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong design portfolio.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong communication skills for presenting and defending design choices, along with effective collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in an agile development environment.
- Familiarity with the container leasing business, sales quotation applications, or procurement/claims applications is a plus.
- Ability to coach and mentor teammates in UI/UX design practices.
