The client is a Global IT Consultancy who is hiring for a UX Designer to propose solutions and redesign for a Government Client's custom internal applications.
This candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Product Managers, Software Engineers and redesign the UX and UI of internal software applications.
THIS IS A 1 YEAR CONTRACT ROLE WHICH IS SUBJECT TO EXTENSION/CONVERSION BASED ON PERFORMANCE
Responsibilities
- Address complex interaction challenges, transform product ideas into user-friendly designs, and create elegant application interfaces.
- Lead the end-to-end design process, working closely with product managers and engineers to explore, iterate, and validate design concepts.
- Find a balance between user needs and business objectives.
- Ensure design implementation aligns with the broader product and design teams.
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and integrate their feedback into the design process.
- Conduct various user research activities, including discovery interviews, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, post-launch evaluations, metrics analysis, and translating insights into actionable design recommendations.
- Collaborate with a Senior UX Lead to ensure design initiatives align with team goals and client expectations.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in designing software application solutions.
- Strong skills in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design, with a focus on simplicity.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex business challenges into engaging design concepts.
- Self-motivated and capable of communicating and prototyping interactions at varying levels of detail.
- Proficiency with modern digital design tools such as Sketch and Figma.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and frontend technologies.
