This is a 6-months contract role.
About the Role:
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders.
- Your work will directly impact the user experience for millions of people across Southeast Asia.
- Lead product design initiatives, driving outcomes and strategic goals across teams.
- Ensure that solutions are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable, while balancing trade-offs and safeguarding goals.
- Defend and communicate design decisions effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate alignment and efficiency across domains, functions, and teams.
- Lead problem exploration, solution discovery, and delivery in complex situations.
- Mentor and support designers in adjacent teams to improve design quality and output.
- Develop and apply problem-framing approaches that influence cross-functional teams.
- Design intuitive solutions to complex problems, integrating multiple products into a cohesive user experience.
- Produce visually compelling designs that enhance the overall user experience.
- Create interactive and high-fidelity prototypes using a range of tools and methods.
About the Requirements:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A portfolio of recent design work (in English) showcasing your contributions and the impact of your projects.
- Provide clear context and demonstrate your end-to-end design process, from problem discovery to launch.
- 4+ years of experience in Product Design.
- Proven experience working within cross-functional product teams.
- Strong foundation in interaction and visual design principles.
- Experience mentoring or coaching peers in interaction design, visual design, or prototyping.
- Excellent knowledge of mobile and web front-end design standards.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Protopie, After Effects, or similar.
Key Competencies:
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly grasp product flows and contribute with minimal onboarding. Previous experience in enterprise or large organizations is a plus.
- Independence: Capable of managing workstreams autonomously and alleviating team workload with minimal oversight.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills and experience working closely with PMs, analysts, and engineers for efficient project delivery.
- Rapid Prototyping & Design System Proficiency: Advanced skills in Figma, with experience in design systems being a bonus.
- Efficiency with Tools: Comfortable using Google Workspace and generative AI tools to enhance collaboration and productivity.
