Responsibilities:
- Overhauling AMT (Automated Manual Transmissions), including disassembly, inspection, component replacement, and reassembly to manufacturer standards.
- Overhauling truck air system components, such as air compressors, air brakes, and valves, ensuring functionality and safety compliance.
- Using diagnostic tools to identify issues in transmission and air systems, with an advantage for those skilled in this area.
- Collaborating with the team to resolve complex technical problems and following company procedures.
- Maintaining detailed service records, including testing, calibrations, and repairs.
- Ensuring adherence to company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- NTC 2 or NITEC 2 in Automotive Technology or a relevant certification.
- At least 3 years of experience in component repair, troubleshooting, and measuring.
- Specific experience in overhauling Automated Manual Transmissions (AMT) and truck air components, with a focus on Japanese models.
