Ensure the smooth operation of the Company's computer systems and provide technical support to both office and vessel staff. This includes:
Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks, and hardware in both office and ship environments, and liaising with external IT vendors.
Assisting shore and sea staff with troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues, either face-to-face or over the phone.
Assisting in the preparation and administration of the Company's IT policies and procedures.
Supporting the Company's cyber security efforts, including configuring and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, antivirus software, access points, etc.
Conducting disaster recovery operations.
Board vessels to provide necessary IT support.
Assist in implementing new information system management software for the Company.
Attend to projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of a Diploma in a related discipline.
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently.
Comfortable with boarding vessels within Singapore waters (safety training will be provided).
Experience in setting up and running new information software systems is a distinct advantage.
