Vessel Operations Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of mechanics in the repair and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for electrical and mechanical system issues, focusing on engine-related problems.
• Assist the Service Manager or Assistant Manager in coordinating subcontractors for mechanical and electrical work.
• Advise customers on engine service, maintenance, and repairs, including ship systems that impact engine performance.
• Respond to technical inquiries from customers as assigned by the Service Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
• Ensure that all repair work meets industry standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Manage tools, equipment, and parts necessary for engine repairs and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and team members.
• Carry out any other responsibilities as directed by the Service Manager or Assistant Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Marine or Mechantronics Engineering
• Min CoC Class 2
• Min 1 year experience in shipyards, boat design, diesel engineer repair, fast boat operations
• Good Communications & Interpersonal skills
• Willing to work offshore and travel frequently.
