- 8 years of shore experience managing Offshore Vessels (DP1/2/3).
- 2 years sailing experience at least 2nd Engineer (unlimited).
- Experience preparing technical budgets and has a good knowledge of BIMCO charter party contracts.
Our client is a global MNC that provides geotechnical and hydrographic surveys for marine offshore businesses. They are looking for an experienced Marine Engineer / Naval Architect with knowledge of electrical, and mechanical (hydraulics) systems to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the clients vessels in their operational & technical needs.
- Keep a track record for all mobilisation expenditures, drawing revisions, approvals, certifications, and work completion forms.
- Work with the vessel manager to ensure that the vessel operations meet with the clients regulations and are on schedule for the next mobilisation.
- Responsible for all vessel mobilisations and demobilisation, including the preparation of project plans and budget for the necessary stakeholders.
- Directly supervise the operation team personnel (Ops Supt, Asst. Ops Supt, Drafters) in the planning and execution of vessel mobilizations.
- Support the equipment resource manager by planning and executing the planned maintenances on project equipment.
- Coordinate with various departments such as the Service Line and Operations Managers on project requirements and liaise with the procurement department to source for the vessels.
Job Requirements:
- Sailing experience at least 2nd Engineer (unlimited).
- 8 years of shore experience managing Offshore Vessels (DP1/2/3).
- 3 years of management experience leading a technical team.
- Experience preparing technical budgets and has a good knowledge of BIMCO charter party contracts.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience in geotechnical/hydrographic survey work is a bonus.
Other Information:
- Location: Eastern part of Singapore.
- Salary: Up to S$11,000 (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
