Viaduct Engineer

Job Description:

. Coordinate all design related matters and participate in regular/ad-hoc meetings with Clients / Design consultants / Viaduct specialists / Subcontractor

. Monitor and update design schedule regularly

. Prepare and develop detailed viaduct supervision schedule and comprehensive checklist for conduct of inspection and supervision by QP(S) and QSS team

. Monitor & review shop/fabrication drawings for temporary/viaduct structure

. Updating of project records for reporting purposes and submission of reports

. Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently

. Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager related to project execution

. Prepare construction methods, identifying risks and form up strategies and alternative methodologies to mitigate risks.

. Preparation of RFI for site inspection for construction, MPI test, welding works and post concrete works

. To supervise each stage of the viaduct construction including inspection and checks for signs of distress to the viaduct structure, etc. To achieve full completion of the viaduct, in a safe manner

. Review and check construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements and construction sequence for all aspects of temporary and permanent works of viaduct construction including design, assembly and operation of launching equipment, post-tensioning works and modification proposals

Requirements:

. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil &Structural Engineering

. Comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), familiar viaduct launching sequencing and project schedule requirement.

. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience of design & construction of bridge/ viaducts/ roads/ highways

. Candidate with experience in LTA (Road/MRT/Viaduct) is preferred

. Technical expertise and knowledge of concrete material & structure design AutoCAD skill

. Good attitude towards work and timeline.

. Candidate with driving license is preferred.
