Your new role
As an Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the bank's operations. You will be responsible for planning and executing audits with a particular focus on credit. This includes evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls, ensuring audits are conducted effectively and completed within given timelines, and preparing detailed audit reports for senior management. You will also ensure that audit findings are well-documented and presented in a timely manner, and that outstanding audit issues are followed up and recommendations implemented. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments to understand their processes and providing valuable insights to enhance operational efficiency. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
What you'll need to succeed
7-10 years of relevant internal audit experience at a prominent financial institution
Sound knowledge of the end-to-end credit process
Good written and verbal communication skills with different stakeholders
Open to front and middle office credit professionals with an external auditor background
