We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice president to join our Middle Office team. This role is located in Singapore, HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Manage a team of Middle Office staff responsible for Trade Support activities which include security transactions on behalf of our clients as their service providers.
Handle trade related inquiries from internal stakeholders and external clients, counterparties such as brokers, custodians and vendors.
Also responsible for oversight of processing, trend analysis, client engagement, TPG review (SLA), process improvement, industry specialist, architecturally aware, incident management, and on shore recovery (processing).
Manage the performance of assigned staff and sets team priorities.
Manages day to day work of Middle Office team to ensure the successful execution of Middle Office daily workflows such as internal trade support, required daily and ad-hoc reporting across equity, fixed income and foreign exchange transactions on behalf of our clients.
Manages relationships with assigned clients and ensure all questions are answered and issues with transactions are resolved.
Manages processes and provides oversight of team to ensure that records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Supports evaluation of new clients and determine how to allocate that client against the various team members.
Responsible for the achievement of team goals and objectives, talent management and supervision of Middle Office staff.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
9-10 years of relevant experience in Middle Office/Trade Operations with at least 1-2 years of team management experience preferred.
