DESIGNATION : Video Editor
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content assessment, editing and stringent quality checks/preparation of programmes for telecast in a digital work environment in accordance with the respective compliance Codes and SOPs.
View and package programmes for Code compliance for broadcast on Channel 5 and meWATCH.
Perform QC checks, enter Media-logger (SOM/EOM) details and TXR programmes for broadcast.
Liaise with the Technical Support team and resolve issues with the Dalet and craft editing systems.
Perform complex edits on the craft editing system (Adobe).
Ensure strict adherence to the standard operating procedures for a consistently high-quality output in all aspects
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in any discipline
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet broadcast deadlines
Technically savvy with a keen interest in programme editing, TV programmes and video content.
Possess a strong awareness of local social and cultural sensitivities and concerns in our broadcast programmes.
Good communicator / people person/ team player.
Able to vet general content (Children's/Sports/Lifestyle programmes) for IMDA Code compliance.
Working experience with digital editing systems (Dalet/Adobe) is beneficial.
Relevant experience in programme editing will be a strong advantage.
