We are looking for an experienced Video Editor (Contract/Part-time) to be involved in our post-production on a remote basis. This role involves working on diverse video editing projects, ranging from mid-scale film productions to smaller phone-based content creation.
Job Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of experience in video editing / videography
- Personnel without relevant qualifications are welcomed! Use your skills, your knowledge, and your work to do the talking!
- Have experience in editing dialogue / presentation videos
- Experience in automotive, event, and wedding video editing is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Video Editing Software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Intermediate proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of filmmaking
- Have the ability to craft compelling stories through video editing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, and content trends.
- Passionate about videography and filmmaking
- Service-oriented with a creative eye for detail
- Driven, responsible, and a team player with good communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good working attitude and responsibility
(we do not welcome irresponsible people with low morale) - Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must have your own computer or laptop and video editing softwares
Responsibilities:
- Perform professional video editing to the raw video files in accordance to guidelines provided for each project / assignment.
- Video editing duties include: compliance with requirements, reviewing and selecting raw content, assembling, sequencing, and cutting video footages, colour correction and grading, adding transitions, visual effects, motion graphics, subtitles and captions, sound editing (syncing and refining audio, adding of music and sound effects), rendering and exporting final videos.
- Work closely with Project Leader and/or Videographer, and other stakeholders (such as clients) to achieve project outcomes.
- Make revisions to the first draft edited video according to review pointers.
- Accept feedback and make improvements for future projects.
- Represent our company with professionalism and maintain the highest standards of conduct
