The Video Production Specialist oversees video pre-production planning and on-site production activities for videos for the church. He or she has to deliver high quality videos on time and within budget, ensuring production gets on smoothly and problem-free.
This role reports directly to the Technical Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Produce high-quality videos for weekend online church services, live events, and meetings.
Capture interview shots of subject matter experts during events.
Collaborate with the Creative team to develop compelling video content, incorporating music, footage, and special effects to enhance storytelling.
Edit videos for company-related events and projects, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
Assist in hosting and managing live-streaming events across multiple online platforms.
Maintain and oversee the inventory of video equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
Manage technical requirements for major events and briefings, ensuring seamless execution.
Provide guidance and support to team members and lay volunteers.
Be responsible for the teams budgetary and resource planning.
Performing any other general duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in film, media, mass communications or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of relevant experience, entry level candidates or with lesser experience will be considered for junior positions.
A team player with great communication skills.
Broadcasting experience will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of any editing softwares.
Experience and creativity in video editing to meet the church expectations.
Able to work on weekends and be involved in our church services on Saturdays and/or Sundays (5-day work week).
