Overview

OSL is seeking a dynamic and experienced PayFi Business Development Lead to drive our entry into the PayFi sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both payment processing and cryptocurrency, enabling them to effectively engage with partners in the Web3 and Web2 ecosystems. This role is crucial for establishing strategic partnerships that facilitate the exchange of fiat to crypto, leveraging OSL's qualifications as a licensed crypto exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships:
  • Identify and engage potential partners in the Web3 protocols and Web2 payment companies to foster collaborative PayFi initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and present OSL as the ideal partner for fiat-to-crypto solutions.

  • Business Development:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the PayFi market.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the payment and crypto sectors.

  • Client Resources:
  • Utilize your payment industry background to leverage existing client resources and networks to promote OSL's PayFi services.
  • Understand the complexities of fiat-to-crypto exchanges and communicate these effectively to potential partners.

  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with internal teams to align product offerings and ensure partner needs are met.
  • Communicate OSL's unique value propositions and qualifications as a licensed crypto exchange.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of business development experience, with a focus on the payment and cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Proven track record of establishing partnerships within Web3 protocols and Web2 payment companies.
  • Deep understanding of payment processing and cryptocurrency markets, particularly in fiat-to-crypto exchanges.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Need to be based
