VP Derivatives Sales

Our Client:

A global financial institution, with over 30 years of experience in interest rate and foreign exchange derivatives, provides services from offices in major financial hubs, including New York, London, and Hong Kong. Known as a leading market maker, they are currently expanding their derivatives business. They are looking to hire a highly motivated derivatives salesperson with established regional relationships and experience in covering financial institutions and hedge funds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business with institutional and hedge fund clients in Asia, providing tailored OTC derivative solutions.
• Design and implement marketing and sales strategies to support annual business goals.
• Partner with trading teams for accurate pricing and seamless execution of rate derivatives.
• Oversee derivatives documentation (e.g., ISDA, CDEA) and support client onboarding with KYC teams.
• Collaborate with affiliate companies to drive institutional business expansion and represent the firm at industry events.

Qualification and Requirement

• 10 years of relevant sales experience in rates derivatives
• A solid understanding of financial institution clients needs to establish financing solutions and cross-sell group company's products.
• Knowledge in FX, Hedge Fund Coverage and derivatives products.
• Proven track record of originating and closing flow derivative transactions
• Possess analytical skills and moderate financial modelling ability
• Ability to establish a strong network across industry, identify and understand institutional clients (Hedge Funds etc) needs
• Knowledge in regional regulatory structures and policies
